AMC to Present at 2010 Green Energy Summit
Sérgio Loureiro, partner and co-founder of Autonomous Mind Consulting, will be presenting at the 2010 Green Energy Summit in Milwaukee, WI. The conference will be held March 24-26.
Sérgio will be presenting as part of a multi-speaker session addressing financial challenges related to energy efficiency and renewable energy in Wisconsin and beyond. His specific task is to discuss the various options for community/municipal financing of energy efficiency and renewable energy, the most well known of which is the Berkeley Model.
Over the last few months, Sérgio has immersed himself in the different options, and pitfalls, of community finance, including the ways in which the original Berkeley Model will struggle for broad acceptance (primary reason: most municipalities can’t or don’t want to access the bond market, and many that do are in no position to borrow at this time).
He’s put together a great presentation, which we’ll post following the summit.
